Saturday’s London derby in the National League is set to be one of nostalgia as Leyton Orient play host to Barnet on a ‘Retro Day’.

The Bees are currently finding some form after a relatively mediocre start to their first season back in the Non-League after last season’s relegation. A run of five consecutive victories has seen Barnet rise to ninth in table.

The O’s sit six places but only three points above this weekend’s opposition. After a late James Alabi equaliser at Halifax last weekend, Justin Edinburgh’s side remain one of only two unbeaten teams in the division.

The overall head to head record between Leyton Orient and Barnet favours the East Londoners. Orient have won 9, drawn 8 and lost 7 games when facing Barnet. However in recent meetings The Bees have had the advantage, winning two of the last three against The O’s.

Team News

James Brophy and Sam Ling have both had involvement in first team training this week, however, are both unlikely to start considering Edinburgh’s preference to stick with an unchanged XI. Elokobi still remains unavailable and Dale Gorman is only just back from Northern Ireland U21 international duty.

Barnet picked up no injuries in their last fixture, however, the fixture will see a return to Brisbane Road for the current Barnet manager, John Still who started his playing career at Orient in 1967.

Potential Starting XI's
