Preview: Morecambe vs Leyton Orient

Leyton Orient travel to the north west in search of their first victory under new boss Carl Fletcher whilst Morecambe look to scramble out of the relegation zone.

Sitting at the foot of the table on 10 points, the shrimps welcome 16th placed Orient to the Globe Arena where the home side have not won all season.

The hosts go into the fixture after a painful spell, winning just one of their last 15. Their most recent outing came in the form of a crucial relegation six pointer at Stevenage where the Shrimps fell to a 1-0 defeat due to a Scott Cuthbert winner.

Orient’s recent form has been something of a mixed bag, taking four points from their last three games, however Carl Fletcher will see a trip to Morecambe to be a great opportunity to progress on the 20 points accumulated by the O’s already this season.

Although the most recent meeting between the two sides ended in a 1-0 victory for Morecambe, on the three other occasions the sides have faced it was the O’s who took all three points.
