Date: 09/03/2019

Time: 12:35

Venue: The Breyer Group Stadium

Saturday’s early kick-off in the National League sees Leyton Orient play host to Wrexham in a match with monumental importance in the title race.

In a season where Orient are going after the double in terms of silverware, it’s instrumental for their title hopes that they complete the treble over Wrexham this weekend and pick up another three points. Orient have defeated their Welsh title rivals away from home twice  this season across all competitions, and will be looking to replicate victories at The Racecourse ground on home soil in E10.

In recent years it is The O’s who dominate the head to head record between the two sides. Since Orient dropped out of the Football League they’ve ran out winners in three of the four meetings with Wrexham, drawing one and losing zero.

Despite the recent head to head record favouring the East Londoners, it’s table toppers, Wrexham who go into the game on the better run of form. The Dragons have picked up 16 points in their last six games.

In comparison, The O’s have picked up ten points in their last six matches, however victory on Saturday will see Orient leapfrog Wrexham by two points as well as having a game in hand.

Take a look at how the O's got a long last time around:
