Aldershot, who currently sit 16th in the National League, are set for a difficult challenge as they take on an in-form Leyton Orient side this Tuesday night.
The O's are currently unbeaten within their last eight fixtures and recorded a significant victory over Wrexham in their last outing. A brace from Macauley Bonne and substitute James Brophy gifted Leyton Orient the victory as they now sit three points clear at the top of the Vanarama National League.
The away side, on the other hand, have struggled for form as of late and in particular away from home. In fact, Aldershot haven't recorded an away victory since the 13th October when they defeated Eastleigh 2-1. Furthermore, they haven't found the back of the net in 187 minutes of National League football.
However, the last time that these two sides faced each other, it resulted in a 3-2 victory to Aldershot. Justin Edinburgh and his men will certainly look to continue their good run of form against The Shots but will have one-eye on their fixture against Gateshead, which is set to take place on Saturday.
Team News
As we approach the Christmas period, which is infamously known for it's fixture congestion, it's most likely that we could see a rotated Leyton Orient side. Furthermore, Charlie Lee is still unavailable while goalkeepers Charlie Grainger and Sam Sargeant will also be unavailable for selection.
Aldershot will be without midfielder James Rowe after sustaining a foot injury earlier this month while the likes of Adam McDonnell and George Fowler are suspended.
