Time: 15:00

Venue: Thames Road

Leyton Orient are set to travel to Thames Road, Canvey Island in search for their third victory this pre-season as they take on Concord Rangers from the National League South.

The O’s are set to be met my a large ex-Orient contingent with Sean Clohessy and Fraser Shaw - former Orient fullbacks - on Concord’s books. In additio,n Aaron Pollock is on trial at Thames Road hoping to impress the player manager, Sammy Moore.

The Beach Boys kicked off pre-season strongly with a 4-0 win at Brentwood before upsetting League 2 Colchester United with a 3-1 victory on home soil. However, their momentum couldn’t stretch to three wins on the bounce, as in their last outing they were defeated 2-0 at AFC Hornchurch.

Likewise, the east Londoners have had varied success from their three previous friendlies. Since defeat in Portugal, Justin Edinburgh’s men have recorded two victories in as many days. 4-0 wins in fixtures against East Thurrock and Millwall U23’s respectively.

Recent wins, as well as a contract extension for Justin Edinburgh, have all accumulated into a rewarding mid-week leading up to this weekend’s fixture.
