Date: 03/11/2018

Venue: Mill Farm

Two dominant sides of the National League go head to head this Saturday. Both Flyde and Orient are the only two sides with a goal difference higher than 20 and the only two sides to have lost just one game this season. Leading the line for both sides are two of the finest strikers the division has to offer, Danny Rowe and Macauley Bonne.

Having dropped two points on Tuesday night at the Silverlake Stadium, the O’s will be looking to start a winning run against Dave Challinor’s side who also have their sights set on the bright lights of the football league.

Despite falling from the top of the table to third, the O’s are still on a good run and haven’t lost in their last four league games.

In comparison, AFC Fylde sit fifth in the National League table with their creditable promotion credentials slightly going under the radar. With 35 points, they are just two points away for Orient and 3 from the top of the table. The Coasters are in great form, taking nine points and having scored as many goals in their last three fixtures.

Previous fixtures between the clubs have ended up in honours being split, the away sides taking the points in both the previous meetings last season.

Team News

Whilst Orient welcome back one fullback from suspension in the shape of Joe Widdowson, Myles Judd is suspended as a result of picking up his fifth yellow card of the season on Vs Eastleigh on Tuesday.

Dave Challinor should have a strong Fylde team to pick from as there are no fresh injury concerns in his squad.

Potential Starting XI’s

Potential AFC Fylde Starting XI: Lynch, Francis-Angol, Bryne, Croasdale, Tunnicliffe, Birch, Bond, Philliskirk, Naughton, Toure, Rowe.

Potential Leyton Orient Starting XI: Brill, Widdowson, Ekpiteta, Coulson, Ling, McAnuff, Lee, Clay, Dayton, Koroma, Bonne.
