It has been announced via Royston Town's twitter account that the former O's forward will be joining the Hertfordshire based side as of this season.
During his second stint with the O's, Mooney made over 30 appearances at Brisbane Road and managed to bring a sense of togetherness when he made his return from Southend United.
Everything Orient and I'm sure fans across the fanbase will be wishing David Mooney the best of luck in his new footballing adventure - his efforts for the O's will never be forgotten.
