This article focuses on Leyton Orient's next opponents, Eastleigh, and how they've faired this season.
Much like Leyton Orient, Eastleigh have struggled within recent times. They currently sit in 14th which is two places higher than the O's and coincidentally only two points separate the sides.
In fact, the Hampshire based side haven't won a single game since late January, where they defeated Hartlepool 3-2. Chris Zebroski impressed within this fixture as he grabbed a hat-trick.
Orient and Eastleigh have already met each other once this season, in an intense 1-1 draw where Craig Clay came out the hero. The O's spent a large amount of the fixture chasing the game with chance after chance being squandered. However, Clay's effort in the eighth minute of injury time helped secure the point for the O's.
Furthermore, this will give Orient the opportunity to play against Paul McCallum, a player who departed the O's in the summer following their relegation from League 2.
Considering the positions of both teams, it's a must win game for Orient to secure absolute safety within the division. Let's hope they can do just that.
