Orient welcome Boreham Wood for the third match at Brisbane Road of this National League campaign.

Having played four games each this season, both sides linger at mid-table positions. The O’s and The Wood sit at 10th and 12th in the table after picking up six and five points respectively from their opening games.

After having not scored against The Wood in either of the last two fixtures, The O’s will be hoping to change that this time round and continue their goal scoring form which has seen them score in all four games this season.

Luke Gerard’s men started the season strongly with a 1-0 win over Dagenham and Redbridge however have failed to kick on. In their previous three fixtures - including a 3-0 defeat at the hands of table toppers, Wrexham - The Wood have failed to record another victory.

Similarly Justin Edinburgh’s men have only recorded one victory this campaign, however they remain one of six teams to not have lost a game in the division this season.

Team News

After being left out from the starting eleven for Tuesdays fixture at Maidstone, O’s skipper Jobi McAnuff may well return after picking up a knock. Harrold and Gorman both remain unlikely to feature and Elokobi is suffering a long term injury.

Boreham Wood picked up no injures in their recent fixture against Gateshead and Manny Perry is set to be fit enough to start on Saturday.
