Player Profile

Less said about his screamer at the play-off final the better, Revell featured for the O's in 2010/11 season and made over 40 appearances for the east London side. During his career, the forward has made over 500 Football League appearances.

Where Have They Been?

The Cambridge born striker turned out for his local side, Cambridge United, at the start of his career but it was at non-league side Braintree Town where Revell made his name.

Between 2004 and 2006, Alex made over 60 appearances for the Essex based side and found the back of the net on 39 occasions. Coincidentally, this good form earned Revell a move to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Following his stint at the Seagulls, Revell played for a host of clubs including Southend, Wycombe and Swindon before eventually finding his way to Orient in 2010. Revell spent a single season in east London before eventually moving to Rotherham for an undisclosed fee.

Although the striker spent four years at Rotherham, Revell never really settled at a club throughout his career. After departing the Millers, Alex had stints at Cardiff, Wigan, MK Dons and Northampton.

Where Are They Now?

Revell joined Stevenage, which is now his current club, on a free transfer during the month of January in 2018. The striker demonstrated towards the tail end of the season that he still has his goal scoring touch as he put three past Exeter City - however, this was his first hat-trick for over ten years.
