In a very up and down season for both Jake Caprice and Leyton Orient, could this be the end of the full-back's time with the O's?
As usual, the club released their annual retention list following the end of another season. Within this list, which was posted on the Leyton Orient website, it revealed that Caprice is under contract but is immediately available for transfer.
The attacking full-back arrived from Woking in the summer of 2017 and was renowned as a good National League player. However, the former Crystal Palace youth product seemed to have moments of struggle throughout the season.
Caprice split the fan base in regards to his ability. With some admiring his attacking output and desire to get forward, whereas others were sceptical about his role as a defender. Either way, Caprice has featured prominently this season, making 35 National League appearances.
With Edinburgh being hired midway through the season, it was expected that a few players would depart if they didn't feature in the managers future plans - which may be a reason as to why Caprice has been placed on the transfer list.
Furthermore, along with Caprice, both Romuald Boco and Christian Scales are in a similar situation. On the other hand, Nathan Mavila and Charley Barker have been released.
