Team-Mates with Ebou Adams

Leyton Orient's Ebou Adams discusses everything from the best banter in the changing room to a possible O's manager in the future. This is 'Team-Mates' with Ebou Adams.

This interview was conducted by Callum Cummings.

Within a previous interview with the website, Ebou portrayed himself to be an absolute professional, discussing his time with the O's and plenty more. However, in a more relaxed discussion, Ebou reveals who the different types of personalities are in the dressing room.

When asked who is the most skilful player at Leyton Orient, Adams went onto say this:

"You can tell from Saturday (fixture against Woking), James Brophy is definitely up there - he always tries to nutmeg a few players. But to be fair Jake Caprice loves a nutmeg as well.".

Every team needs that one player who generates the banter in the changing room and Ebou believes that David Mooney is the player that delivers every time. Whether it's a prank or lighthearted jokes, Mooney will certainly be involved.

Alongside the joker of the club, the music man is pivotal too. Our very own Callum Cummings, who conducted this interview, had the opportunity to go into the changing room ahead of the O's pre-season fixture against Billericay Town.

He saw that Myles Judd was keen to be in charge of the music but Adams has revealed that the responsibility has shifted within recent times.

"It's half and half nowadays, it switches between Josh (Koroma) and Coulson," the Gambian international shared.

Furthermore, Adams went onto reveal that the only person he ever sees on his phone an excessive amount is Macauley Bonne. However, he did mention that he rarely sees players on their phones, as he is normally one of the first players at training and the last to leave.

Regarding choice of clothing, Ebou was unable to choose who would win the title of being the worst dressed. However, without a single hesitation, he said that Charlie Grainger won the award of best dressed without a shadow of a doubt.

The last question proved to be interesting as Ebou Adams produced an answer that we certainly wasn't expecting. This question being, 'Who is most likely to be a future Leyton Orient manager?':

"To be honest I can see Dean Brill as a future manager of Leyton Orient but also Matt Harold maybe.".

Ebou Adams Dream 5-a-side Team

Without a single hesitation, Ebou jumped at the chance of having the Manchester United shot stopper David De Gea within his five-a-side team. He considers the Spanish goalkeeper to be superior to Manuel Neuer, with his recent game-winning save against Manchester City certainly supporting his statement.

Regarding the defence, there was only one choice for Ebou Adams. The Gambian defender selected John Terry at the back and admitted that he always loved him as a player. Furthermore, the Gambian even revealed that he played against the former England and Chelsea captain.

Obviously, a midfield without Ebou Adams would be simply ludicrous, therefore, he slots himself into midfield alongside Lionel Messi, a partnership which Barcelona could only dream of.

Ebou did consider placing James Brophy in midfield, however, Messi's creativity and world class status helped secure a spot in Adams five-a-side team. In all honesty, we would rather have Brophy, Messi might lose a leg or two in the National League.

Last but not least, Cristiano Ronaldo leads the line in this side. His trickery and goal scoring ability helped cement his place in this team and with his recent bicycle kick against Juventus, it's very hard to argue with Ebou's decision.
