The central midfielder joined Leyton Orient from Stoke City a month long loan deal during the 2013/14 season. The Scottish midfielder made 13 appearances for the O's during this time and was a commanding player in the heart of midfield.

In addition to this, during his time with the O's, Ness recorded his first ever professional goal in a 4-0 victory over Carlisle with an excellent effort from distance.

Following his time with the O's, Ness returned to his parent club, Stoke City, where he played reserve team football for the remainder of the campaign. The Scottish midfielder then went back out on loan the following season, joining up with Crewe Alexandra and making 33 appearances for the League One side.

However, upon his return from loan, Ness was not offered a new deal and was without a club in the summer of 2015.

Fortunately for Jamie, Scunthorpe handed him a lifeline as he joined on a free transfer in a two year deal. During his time with the League One side, he made 39 appearances over a two year stay but was once again without a club once his contract expired.

Nowadays, Jamie Ness plays for Plymouth Argyle in League One making 20 appearances since his arrival in the summer of 2017.

If Ness was available once again on a free transfer, would you take him at the O's? Let us know by commenting below or replying to out tweet. Up the O's!
