4 Reasons Why West Ham Fans Should Follow Orient Instead

For the first time in a few years, especially through the Bechetti era, it's a nice feeling that the spotlight has been taken away from Orient and is firmly on the Hammers. Therefore, so we can help our fellow east Londoners out, here are four reasons why they should support the O's:

1. Cheaper Ticket Prices

Category A ticket prices at the Olympic Stadium will cost an adult between £50-£70 to watch a West Ham United side play football with the occasional brawl between the fans as an added bonus. For just £20, you can watch the O's play and you can save the rest of the money you would have spent on watching the Hammers on a ticket to watch Anthony Joshua, now that's a proper fight.

2. O-nuts

Yes, that's right. As recently as this weekend, the O's have launched their own design of doughnuts, or 'o-nuts' as they are commonly referred to, which are now being sold on match days. This little feature adds a bit of character to the east London club which West Ham fans who are looking to make a fresh start may enjoy.

3. The Owner

Jokes aside, us Leyton Orient fans also know how it feels to have an owner who doesn't care about the club. However, those days are behind us and we're delighted to have the consortium of Kent Teague and Nigel Travis looking after the club. Kent is seen regularly at Orient matches and engages with the fans on a regular basis.

4. The relationship between the players and the fans

Nowadays in Premier League football, there seems to be a growing gap between the fans and the players - with many top flight teams forgetting that fans are what make a club. This isn't the case at Leyton Orient. Players such as George Elokobi and Josh Coulson are adored by the fans due to the close bond they share with the fanbase, making the O's a very different club to West Ham United.

Let us know what you think of the situation at West Ham United in the comments below or replying to either our Tweet or Facebook post. Up the O's!

Those Onuts are fantastic, why don't Orient sell those at local bakeries, so that they gain profit to help the club.
